TRPS Festival of Posters this Saturday in Golden Gate Park

TRPS Festival of Rock Posters in Golden Gate Park – Saturday, Oct. 25th. Mouse! Moscoso! Bonnie MacLean! Singer! Conklin! Houston! Emek! Sperry! Tuten! Just a few of the legends that will be at this years show. I’ve been a part of these TRPS shows since I first started making gigposters about 7-8 years ago. They have been inspiring on many levels and I always look forward to coming out of my artist burrow for this event. I’ll bring my pencils…

I look forward too seeing some of you there.

Mystery Trio Mini Print Pack Sale

Screen shot 2014-05-28 at 12.49.13 PM
The Spusta Gnomes have scrapped together about another 100 Mystery Trio Mini Print Packs to be made available to you fine folks.

This Wednesday, at a few random times in during the day, the gnomes will add some inventory to the shop. Along with the shop sale, we also want to make these available in an easier way than catching them during the brief moment before they sell out. So, if you’re interested in getting a Mystery Trio Mini Pack, just post a comment here, and we will be picking customers and sending them invoices for a pack before Wednesday’s sale. There will be a randomness to the customer selection process, but it will also favor new customers who may have not gotten any mini prints from the Shop yet.

About half of the inventory will be sold through the random customer selection lottery here, and the other half will be sold through the shop on Wednesday.

These Trio Packs will include one of each of the 3 common sized mini screen prints, a 7″ x 7″, a 5″ x 7″ and a 5″ x 5″. The packs will be a limit of 1 per customer, per week. Each pack will be a completely random assortment of colors and designs. The 2 larger prints are signed. There are also a handful of hand colored or embellished minis mixed in these packs, so be on the lookout.

DMB Caravan Poster Purchasing Lottery

This is the lottery post to comment on if you’re interested in purchasing the Dave Matthews Band Caravan Poster (Pearl AE) or if you missed out on the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration (Brown AE) a few weeks ago.

The DMB Caravan poster has a show edition of 1000 that sold out at the 3 day music festival at The Gorge Amphitheatre. The Artist Edition that we have available is only an edition of 55 on a white pearl paper stock. Compared to that large show edition, and considering the millions of DMB fans out there, it seemed best to release our limited amount of AEs here in a lottery format.

Along with the DMB Caravan AEs, we are also offering up a few more (about 10) Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration @ Red Rocks posters in this same lottery. These are from the Artist Edition of 100 on brown sparkle paper.

Sooooo, if you’re interested in throwing your name in the hat for the opportunity to purchase either poster, here’s what you should know and do:

• The DMB Caravan AE poster will cost $85 + shipping.  The JGS @ RR will cost $70 + shipping.
Choose either the DMB of JGS to try for.
• If you enter the lotto more than once, you won’t be picked.
• If interested, post a comment here with your poster choice, and be sure to use your Paypal email address. (Also, mention if you’re International shipping)
• Customers will be selected randomly, and invoices will be sent through Paypal.
• This lotto will be conducted today with winners selected sometime on Thursday, winner’s notification will simply be the Paypal invoice.

• If you’re comment doesn’t show up, it got caught up in our extra-tight spam filter. We will dig you out before we start picking “winning” customers.

Art Show at Furthur Frames in Denver, August 1st.

I am pleased to announce that on August 1st, at Furthur Frames in Denver, there will be a show of my artwork, all beautifully framed. Furthur Frames has emerged in the past few years as one of the go-to framers for my work, and this exhibit will showcase many uniquely framed variant prints. There will also be a focus on my Garica/Grateful Dead prints, to coincide with the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration at Red Rocks that Sunday.

I hope a lot of you Colorado people can make it out to say hi, and maybe a few of you would even want to travel in for the weekend. I will be at the opening, meeting, greeting and doodling.

New Shirts Designs!

We are pleased to announce the arrival of 3 new shirt designs to adorn the freaky wonderful people.

These shirts are printed with water based discharge inks on Next Level tees, which makes for a very soft and comfy fit. The first of the new shirts, the Omiwimo tie dyes, will be offered in both mens and womens styles. The tie dyes were done with light grey dyes and most have a splashes of color (either pink, purple, green or blue) – each shirt can be quite unique, so customers should be aware that they are dyed with variety intended.

The green Smeezy shirt and will be available in regular mens tees only and Seven Birds is available in a ladies purple tri-blend – we’ve been told the ladies shirts run a bit small, or fit snuggly.

If these new designs sell quickly and are gone from the shop, more inventory may be added at a later date. There are also smaller runs of these designs on alternate colors that will be released in the future (such as a few Seven Birds in mens style and some non-tie-dye Omiwimos). A few children’s Tees are in the works as well.

Spusta Schwag for your body and soul!

Spring Cleaning Sale at the Studio.

We have pulled many left-over posters and prints when recently cleaning the Studio. We are going to add this inventory to the Shop over the next handful of days, until our regular sale day Wednesday.

On Wednesday the Bottlerock poster will be released (no time yet, probably later in the day, check back here). Shipping for all items won’t happen until after Wednesday’s sale to give us the opportunity to combine purchases into one shipment. (extra goodies will be thrown in for multiple shipping charges, or use the “comboship” code on 2nd or 3rd orders.

Let’s get some of these prints out the door and into your homes!
