Spinning Soundly, Planning on releasing a nice va Spinning Soundly,

Planning on releasing a nice variety of these screen prints on Wednesday. There is a 11”x14” edition of 250 on a black rubbery paper stock. There are also a handful of rarer variant editions. Along with the full size editions, there are also 5”x7” mini prints that come in an almost endless variety of colorways and papers.

We will send a release announcement to our email list before they actually go on sale- we haven’t decided an exact time yet.

Most of the 11”x14” variants will be released through our EQL lottery page before the black edition goes on sale in our shop. The variants will be sold as a random colorway, and thus kept at one price.

And here’s the other twist, the full size prints will come with one random Spinning Soundly mini print as well.

stay tuned for more details….
Can you embody the Mild Star Child? Random colore Can you embody the Mild Star Child?

Unbroken Chain this weekend at the Fillmore was ma Unbroken Chain this weekend at the Fillmore was magic. It was an honor to create this poster for these special shows, A Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh (and Bobby, Jerry, Donna and all our Grateful Dead heroes).
Phil is an inspirational figure in my life, and not only for his music and cultural legacy. He fostered such an enriching scene in the Bay Area and brought so many amazing humans together - Phil made all our lives better and pushed us to be more creative and free.

The artwork for this poster, featuring ascending terrapins and an ouroboros in the cosmos was something Phil asked me to create a few years ago. The symbolism he guided me to embed in this piece resonated with significance and beauty as this weekend’s celebration unfurled.
Thank you to @grahamelesh and all the stellar musicians, friends and fans that came out. We are all so thankful to have this music continue to shine so bright. Grateful Dead Forever.
Thanks @mollybills , you’re the best and your team are all wonderful.
It was great be with everyone, from drawing for you pre-show to enjoying the music together.
Special thanks to the @owsleystanleyfoundation and family for the stories, hangs and writing this eloquent blurb on the poster;

“Check out the incredible poster for this weekend of shows, created with art direction from Phil himself: Ouroboros swallowing his tail, signifying an unbroken chain of intergenerational musical and artistic excellence, circling above a thousand point fire lotus. Sublime. “

There should be some of these posters available online eventually. There is an artist edition too, but it will be some time before we will release them. The studio is a bit buried in to-do’s.

Last images are some of my very first posters hanging at the Fillmore.
Thanks for caring and sharing-
Marq
